On November 5th 2008 "The Guardian" reported that Israel broke the 6 month cease fire by killing six Hamas soldiers in a raid. Hamas responded by firing rockets into southern Israel. The dominant media has successfully portrayed Hamas as the aggressors. Anyone can research this conflict and conclude that Israel are the aggressors and are using the last days of the Bush presidency to finish Hamas once and for all. I suspect the Israeli leadership with Bush's blessing will continue to escalate it's terror campaign and go for the deathblow on Gaza on inauguration day. The world will be distracted by Obama’s historic inauguration. Will Obama allow this to continue? It is reasonable to surmise that the Israeli leadership is not sure, but do they have anything to worry about?, lets hope so..
