He won! A historical moment! yes! but...

There is no doubt this is a historical moment for America. We should be proud of the fact that an African American is president of this country. President-elect Obama has an enormous challenge ahead of him. Throughout the election, he has received hundreds of millions of dollars from major industry, surpassing MC Cain! We are hopeful that he will put the American people first! We will apply pressure and hold his feet to the fire and will unfortunately be playing tug of war with big corporations demanding their pound of flesh! LETS NOT HANG OUR HAT ON THIS PRESIDENT! We must let President-elect Obama that this victory was largely due to the anti war movement's response to the last 8 years or wars, economic turmoil, climate disasters by President Bush!
